Early in my career the vice president of our company told me that his goal was to "keep me from becoming bored." It wasn't because I didn't like the product or the business, but I thrive in new challenges and truly believe variety is the spice of life. I have carried this personal mission throughout my career. My experience ranges from implementing million dollar software solutions for the largest financial institutions in the world to restoring a motorcycle or building a piece of metal art. Naturally, the business I founded is as diverse as my experience.
While there may appear to be some unrelated components, each piece is focused on the transportation and fabrication industries. Blue Paw Dynamics is, in essence, the culmination of my passions and experience. My passion for design and fabrication, my love for cars, motorcycles and motorsports combined with my experience in the information technology industry and a diverse small business background come together to create a company that spans the gambit in capability.
A common question that many people have is, "Where did Blue Paw come from?". People have guessed many different things, but it was the name of my best friend. In 1998, I was blessed with a small mixed breed puppy. She had one brown eye and one blue eye, and I believe that sometimes dogs just name themselves... So, she was named Blue. She was a gift from God at a time in my life when I really needed one.
Blue was the "Ambassador of the dogs" in every way. Many people who have never had dogs before spent five minutes with her, and they became dog people. She was loving, fun, and never aggressive unless a stray cat wandered into her space. My wife, who was not comfortable with dogs, met Blue for the first time, and that was all it took... she was converted and Blue had once again represented the dogs proudly.
On October 14, 2005, her life with us ended suddenly. She was the greatest dog I had ever had the pleasure of knowing and now that she is running free forever, I can only be thankful for the time that I had spent with her.
We miss you girl, and always will...
